We’re pleased that Asset Bank has performed strongly in the recent DAM News Vendor Pricing Survey. Sixteen Digital Asset Management software vendors took part in the totally independent report (twenty declined to participate).
While the survey found that the average cost for the first year of a hosted DAM solution is USD $37,846, the average cost of Asset Bank comes in at less than a third of this, at USD $11,547.
Most of our communication with clients tends to be via phone or email. So it’s always a real pleasure when a client visits our Brighton HQ. Robert Howe from GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS came to see us recently. We took the opportunity to make a short film to capture his view on what it’s like to work with us and the Asset Bank Digital Asset Management system.
Digital Asset Managment (DAM) is a niche industry. So we’re lucky to have the DAM Foundation , an organisation that exists to create standards in Digital Asset Management and promote best practice.
We’re 100% behind their latest initiative, establishing the ten core characteristics of Digital Asset Management software. The characteristics were first defined in a blog by DAM author Elizabeth Keathley, then later refined in collaboration with the DAM Foundation board .
Digital Asset Management is a relatively small industry but we are lucky enough to have a few independent organisations like the DAM Foundation and Real Story Group who seek to support and further DAM knowledge (in the case of the former) and give buyers detailed unbiased reviews of DAM vendors (the latter).
